The topic: Will super PACs Determine the 2012 Election?<\/p>\n<p>Moderated by Sunlight&#8217;s policy counsel, Daniel Schuman, the panel included Allen Dickerson, legal director for the <a title=\"Center for Competitive Politics\" href=\"http:\/\/www.campaignfreedom.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Center for Competitive Politics<\/a>; Mimi Marziani, counsel for the Democracy Program at New York University School of Law&#8217;s <a title=\"Brennan Center\" href=\"http:\/\/www.brennancenter.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Brennan Center for Justice<\/a>, and Paul Ryan, FEC program director and associate legal counsel at the <a title=\"Campaign Legal Center\" href=\"http:\/\/www.campaignlegalcenter.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Campaign Legal Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I was pleased when Allen Dickerson concurred with my call for a culture shift favoring transparency within the nonprofit community.
